Monthly Motivations

Standard

Better late than never! Who says you need to have your motivations at the top of the month? I sure don’t…this month. Listen, when times get busy it’s in the quiet moments when you have the opportunity to take stock of what’s been happening around you, and what you want to see for yourself in the weeks ahead.

As 2015, begins to wrap up, I have become cognizant of the little things that make my days go with ease, allowing me the freedom to create and appreciate the joy in my days. Hopefully, these little nuggets will push you to tackle that challenge staring you in the face.

Ciao 🙂

FULL-SPEED AHEAD January

Standard

Whoa boy!

January came in quietly for me and now I am FULL-SPEED AHEAD! I don’t know if my vision board has anything to do with it, whether my focus is finally where it needs to be, in terms of who, what, when, and where and why, or if  divine favor is shining down on me. All I know for sure is that this has been without a doubt a great month for me, teaching, working, acting, auditioning, and broadening my scope in the theatre world, FULL-SPEED AHEAD.

While this post is short and sweet, I wanted to leave you with another quote from The Alchemist this week, to give you a nudge this Tuesday. Let me know if it helps you in or out of your current situation in the comment section below. Have a great day, and do at least one thing today, that will make you proud tonight.

“We warriors of light must be prepared to have patience in difficult times and to know that the universe is conspiring in our favor, even though we may not understand how.”

Tuesday Thoughts

Tuesday Thoughts

Super busy week ahead for me! With rehearsals (for Midsummer Night’s Dream), auditions (for touring companies in and out of state), training (for additional positions at my day job), and selling (continuing my training in jewelry selling in Brooklyn), I can admit that the visit from hometown friends (Andrew) and a long weekend away (mom/daughter time in D.C.) have refreshed and revitalized me for all that lies ahead!!

Saw this photo on Pinterest this morning and was the perfect reaffirmation of words my mother shared with me over dinner our last night in the nation’s capital.

Have a great Tuesday and be on the lookout for a Washington-themed Wandering Wednesday tomorrow.

Ciao 🙂
