Where on earth have I been? Taking a mini-break from the blog that’s where! I admit I fell off the blog-o-sphere for two weeks there, but with good reason. Sometimes I just need to stop recording everything that’s happening to me and instead fully experience what’s happening to me. This has been a spectacularly busy month for me, and there are still two days to go! This week’s Wandering Wednesday features pictures from my walk up 6th Avenue from Herald Square to Bryant Park, photos taken in the Financial District, and a few shots from my trip to Philadelphia. Hope you enjoy!

On this rainy Wednesday in New York, my Wandering post will take you up 6th Avenue from 42nd street/Bryant Park to 59th Street/Columbus Circle. I took all of these pictures last Friday night when I left the office, the weather was gorgeous, with a light breeze, and there weren’t that many people around. My walk also led to a great conversation with my Dad, because when he was a boy he used to work in the Diamond District, which is found on 47th street between 6th and 5th avenue. Hope you enjoy!

Update: New photos added to gallery at 10:37am!

The past few days were filled with sunshine, clear skies and so much warmth!!! Wandering around the Upper West Side with Morgan on Saturday was exactly what I needed after two early Shakespeare auditions that morning. How funny, that as I write this post, New York was placed under the siege of a mid-April “thundersnow” and now the streets, sidewalks, daffodils and magnolias are currently covered with a thin layer of sleet, ice and snow. But this weather won’t get me down! Spring will be here for good, before we know it…just not this week. 😉
