Last week, I had the opportunity to enjoy my last few morsels of vacation with some friends. Getting in a little culture with Bloo at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, wandering around on the east side with Kendra. It was nice to walk around the galleries and get lost on the East Side. It made me realize how busy I had been over the past few months and how much I missed this version of New York. I hope you enjoy the pics!
This year, I have decided to continue on the road of “Consistent and Persistent” that I began building in 2015. The mantra really helped me to focus on what was important and to really make bold moves in my personal and professional life. Building momentum to this idea I will also strive to promote myself and my work this year (so don’t be surprised to see more of the #shamelessplug on my Instagram!)
As I stated in my last post, I will only be posting once a week this year. So be sure to stop by every Thursday to see what’s happening in Harlem, and as always my Instagram feed will have the most up-to-date news and stories from my day to day life so follow me: @rocksolidmel.
Below are some of the ideas, phrases and quotes I want to use this year to get me from month to month. I hope that they will inspire you too!
Today’s Wandering Wednesday has photos from my walk north on Broadway from Barclay Street in the Financial District to Times Square, walking south on Broadway to Battery Park, City Hall Park, Bryant Park, and walking north on 10th Avenue from 14th Street.
Here it is guys! The final post from my St. Thomas extravaganza! Not gonna lie, flipping through these photos again, brought the memories right back, as I sit in my hot apartment here in Harlem. I can never fully explain how much fun I had in the Virgin Islands, but being able to celebrate my birthday with my closest friend, was the sweetest thing in the world. Hope you enjoy the pics from the Wing Festival, my birthday in St. John, ferry ride pics and a few more beach pics!
